How can my organization join the Midnimo Women Network? โ–พ
Contact us via the form above or email info@midnimonetwork.org. We welcome women-led organizations operating in Puntland to apply for membership. Our General Assembly reviews applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. Membership gives your organization a platform within a coalition of 55+ women-led NGOs across all nine regions of Puntland.
What types of partnerships does MWN accept? โ–พ
MWN partners with international organizations, local NGOs, government agencies, and private sector entities. We welcome funding partnerships, program collaborations, technical assistance, capacity-building support, and advocacy coalitions that are aligned with our mission of gender equality and women's empowerment.
Does MWN have offices outside of Somalia? โ–พ
Yes. MWN has representatives in Nairobi (Kenya), Finland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and the United States of America. These offices and representatives support diaspora engagement, international fundraising, and global advocacy for women's rights in Puntland and Somalia.
How can I support Midnimo Women Network financially? โ–พ
You can support MWN through direct financial contributions, in-kind support, technical expertise, advocacy, or by connecting us with potential donors and funding partners. Please contact us at info@midnimonetwork.org to discuss partnership and funding modalities. We are registered and can provide all necessary documentation for donor due diligence.
How can I access MWN's reports and publications? โ–พ
Our reports and publications are available on the Reports page of our website. You can also request specific documents by emailing info@midnimonetwork.org. We publish annual reports, program assessments, policy briefs, and research papers on a regular basis โ€” all freely available to the public.
Which regions does MWN operate in? โ–พ
MWN operates across all nine regions of Puntland โ€” including Bari (headquartered in Garowe), Nugaal, Mudug, Sool, Sanaag, Karkar, Ayn, and others โ€” with active regional offices in each. We also have international representatives in Nairobi, Finland, UK, Sweden, and USA.
How do I report a gender-based violence case or emergency? โ–พ
For urgent GBV cases or emergencies, please call us directly at +252 907 744 712 or email info@midnimonetwork.org. MWN works with partner organizations and legal aid providers to connect survivors to appropriate support services. All cases are handled with strict confidentiality and care.
